FAQ: CONNECT - Adding dual screen macro to Cisco Devices

Introduction

This document outlines the process for enabling dual screen support for Synergy CONNECT on supported Cisco devices.  

Prerequisites

  • Cisco unit capable of Macros
  • Dual Screen device
  • Synergy SKY Suite deployment and valid CONNECT License 

Overview

When Synergy SKY CONNECT, the macro allows for automatic setting of monitors whereas both screens are used depending on the situation:

Install

Download the attached macro at the bottom of this document, login to the Cisco Device:

Default values are set to "auto", if you have specific preference for monitor display, you may set this here as this will revert when the Synergy CONNECT call is over.
