Introduction
The Synergy SKY software supports meeting rooms with different types of video endpoints. The Video System tab is where you can view and manage your video systems. When adding a new video system, you can associate it with a meeting room.

Step by Step Guide
Add a Video System
- Go to GENERAL SETTINGS > Video Systems
- Click "ADD VIDEOSYSTEM"
- Fill in the values in the form. Including the meeting room this video endpoint is associated with
Note: The Manufacturer value helps Synergy SKY understand how it should communicate with the video system, whether the video system supports the One Button To Push or One Touch Dial features etc. This setting will default the values of the Track Changes and Video System Type sections below. - Click Test Connection to test the connectivity with a Cisco video system
- Click SAVE and SAVE CHANGES
- Deploy your configuration
Add a Webex Control Hub registered Video System
For customers using the Webex Control Hub and who have registered their endpoints to the Hub, adding video systems is different. There are two methods, with one being the cleaner, faster, and preferred method. The secondary method will be outlined but will not be a full walk-through.
- Go to GENERAL SETTINGS > Video Systems
- Click "ADD WEBEX VIDEO SYSTEMS"
- Select/Check the rooms you wish to add to the SUITE
- Click "ADD SELECTED SYSTEMS"
Note: Room Type should show as "RoomOs" - Click "Edit" next to the added system and associate it with a room.
- Click "SAVE" when done
- Click "SAVE CHANGES" in top-right corner
- Deploy your configuration
Alternate method:
- Log in to your Webex registered endpoint
- Create an account with admin privileges
- Add the Video System to the SUITE using the IP, user, and password
Maintaining the Video Systems
From the list of video systems, you can disable and enable video systems, edit information and delete video systems.
Cisco video systems with the people count feature can also be utilized as occupancy sensors and collects data about number of people in the room. This data is being used by Synergy SKY for automatic de-booking of empty meeting rooms as well as for analytical purposes in the analytics part of the platform.
