It is possible to use CONNECT GO in your Zoom room. The below guide shows the steps involved to set this up on your video endpoint.
After completion; the endpoint's display will look similar to the image below:
- As a Zoom admin, login to the Zoom portal, expand Room Management and then click on Zoom Rooms.
- Click Edit on the room in which you want to add the GO button. Under Setup; scroll down until you see Customize home screen, make sure this is enabled.
- Click Add contact to home screen.
- Go to the H.323/SIP tab.
- Select SIP as protocol with the radio button
- Enter go.{tenant_id}@joingw.com as the address in the first text box
- If the Zoom Room is a dual screen room the address to be used is go1.{tenant_id}@joingw.com
- The name is what will appear under the button on the homescreen. Make sure this is clear to your users and short enough to appear well on the home screen
- Click Save.
