This guide outlines how to integrate your Webex Control Hub with Synergy SKY, both in a basic and Custom fashion. Both configurations are found on the "Webex Integration" tab, or <your_URL>/webex.
Basic is the preferred way of doing this process, by using the existing integration between Webex Control Hub and Synergy SKY.
Custom is for when basic is not available. For example, because it is not available in all Webex clouds and is limited to one per tenant.
Basic
- Navigagate to https://admin.webex.com/workspaces/integrations
- User/Admin needs to have full admin rights assigned in Webex.
- Click Synergy SKY Management Suite, this will display some details including Permissions.
- Click Activate in top right corner, this will prompt all permissions to be listed for review.
- Proceed by clicking Activate in the bottom right, this will provide an activation code. Copy to clipboard.
- You now have the activation code ready for inputting to your CONNECT configuration.
Custom
- Download the manifest file (json) from this link
- Navigate to https://admin.webex.com/workspaces/integrations
- User/Admin needs to have full admin rights assigned in Webex.
- Upload the manifest
- Copy the OAuth Client ID
- Copy the OAuth Client Secret.
You will need these are they are only shown once.
- Click Activate the integration
- Copy the activation code.
- You now have the OAuth Client ID, the OAuth Client Secret and the activation code ready for inputing to your SSky configuration.
