Introduction

This article will provide your team with the steps on how to configure CMS MCU features for Synergy SKY CONTROL white glove.

Note: Full functionality of this feature set requires you to have Cisco CMS in your environment. This should also be done from a computer with access to the Management Suite.

Step-by-Step Guide
Prepare Integration within Management Suite

Add Integration Settings:

1. In your Management Suite UI, navigate to GENERAL SETTINGS > Integrations Settings
2. Under "Connections", select "ADD CONNECTION"
3. Select "Cisco CMS" from the "Connection type" drop-down
4. Name the connection
5. Add Hostname/Address for CMS
6. Add Username for CMS
7. Add Password for CMS
8. Press the Test Connection button to ensure connectivity to CMS.
9. Save
   

Add API Integration

1. In your Management Suite UI, navigate to GENERAL SETTINGS > Integrations Settings
2. Under "API Integration", select "ADD API INTEGRATION"
3. Select "CONTROL" from the "Used for" drop-down
4. Select the integration you previously created from the "Connection" drop-down
5. All the details will auto populate
6. Enable slider at the top right
7. Save
   
8. Select Save Changes at the top right
9. Deploy the "Current" Config

Dial out Configuration (optional)

Dial out Configuration for CMS

1. In your Management Suite UI, navigate to GENERAL SETTINGS > Video Systems
2. Find room you would like to configure and select edit on the room
3. Ensure your URI is correct
   
4. Select the "Connectivity Type" drop-down and select "Dial Out"
5. Under "Dial Out Options" select the drop-down labeled "Dial Out Protocol" and select your desired protocol.
6. Select Save
   
7. Select Save Changes at the top right
8. Deploy the "Current" Config

Log in to Synergy SKY CONTROL

Cisco CMS meeting in CONTROL

1. Locate Cisco CMS meeting in CONTROL
2. Expand meeting
3. Locate "MCU controls" button at the bottom left
   1. Note, Cisco CMS must be started to have full feature set enabled
4. MCU options: Mute, Unmute, video start, video stop, disconnect call, layout, etc.
